Today is a celebration of life and of yoga. We have this day, this opportunity to open our hearts and share our love, passion, and wisdom with others.
When we celebrate, we pause and give our full attention, awareness, and presence to a life event. We focus, notice, and share our appreciation with a special person or life event. We may even go deeper into the energy of the celebration by experiencing something sacred - filled with wonder, awe, and bliss-being consciousness. We have yoga as our guidepost to celebrate this day, this life, and to transform the everyday reality into an extraordinary reality of presence and spiritual transcendence.
Yoga is a discipline that trains our minds to be quiet, to be present, moment by moment. And in the presence of now, our body, mind, and spirit unite. Yoga means union, and in this union we experience the melding of the sacred essence that is us and the sacredness in all of life.
Whenever we celebrate, we open our hearts and minds to a life event and transform the common day reality into something special, an extraordinary reality. And, this is just what Yoga is all about. Yoga teaches us to slow down, to open our hearts, minds, and consciousness to life fully. Not just during a few special moments or days of the year. Instead Yoga teaches us to make every moment of life into a sacred experience, a celebration.
Today is a new day with new possibilities, and if we let go of yesterday’s experiences, whether good or bad, we can open the door for new and enlightening transformations.
Nothing matters but today. We celebrate the clarity of the morning. We awaken to a brilliant new day to sculpt however we choose. We embrace the day as it unfolds. We take responsibility for our thoughts, words, and actions. We reflect and remember we have the fortitude to change for the better. We know what lies within us is what matters.
To celebrate is to appreciate all of life. To celebrate is to transform the commonplace, the ordinary, into something majestic, awe-inspiring, and sacred. To celebrate is to give value and meaning to what we take for granted. When we celebrate and share the essence of who we really are, we feel the sacredness of being and of connection. In celebrating, we connect to our wisdom of existing together in a sacred field of meaning.
Celebrate today! Share your bright light!
With gratitude,
